I've finally got internet at home! I was able to work out a deal with my landlady's son to split his internet connection with me, and so I can finally surf the web at home. The connection is surprisingly fast, which is something we didn't expect at all given how long the LAN cable we used is.
I'm really happy because now a lot of the stuff that Marie and I were planning can finally start coming together. I don't have to go to the office just to research on stuff I need, and I don't have to rush to get out of the house if I want to work on an online project. The only downside is that the internet connection is only going to be on during mornings and afternoons. The router needs to be switched off at night so that it doesn't burn out too quickly. That's still workable though.
I'm definitely going to update this blog regularly, whether at home or in the office. I'm also going to update all of my accounts in all of the social networking sites I've signed up on, and I'll upload all the things I need to upload. Things are definitely looking up. ;-)
